Snow, Schnitzel, and Ancient Ruins: A Gordy Family Christmas

Writer: June GordyJune Gordy

This Christmas and New Year’s break was one for the books! Our family had the opportunity to travel to Greece for an organizational gathering focused on ministry in Africa and the Middle East. But before diving into meetings, we made a quick detour to the Austrian Alps for a white Christmas—complete with sledding, snow forts, and plenty of schnitzel.

After our snowy adventure, we headed to Corinth, where we connected with people from all over the world who are working among Muslims. It was an incredible time of encouragement, learning, and deep conversations, while the kids got to hang out with other missionary kids who understand their world in a unique way.

It was a refreshing and much-needed break for our family, and now we’re excited to be back in Kenya, ready for what God has in store in 2025!
