Kicked the Hornets Nest

In a recent blog post, we shared the exciting news about the new Somali translation of the Gospel of John. We printed 10,000 copies, and to date, we’ve distributed around 7,000. The response has been nothing short of intense. It’s as if we’ve kicked a hornets’ nest.


Since the gospel has gone out, our team has faced multiple threats, and we’ve encountered a few situations that felt like set-ups—people appearing interested in the gospel only to turn hostile and gang up on us. Some of our Kenyan team members have even had their lives threatened.
