“A Table of Divine Appointments: A Second Chance at Discipleship”

ree

Recall the last story about a Somali woman Joey and the team met through a series of divine interventions—rescued from danger and now growing in faith in Nairobi.

Well, this March, while Joey’s family, a volunteer team, and this same Somali woman were out for lunch, they happened to run into Mohamed, a secret Somali believer Joey had first met the previous May. Back then, Mohamed was too afraid of his family to pursue discipleship. But this time, he wasn’t alone—he was with a friend named Abdul.

Without hesitation, the Somali woman approached their table and boldly shared the gospel. Mohamed grew nervous and left, but Abdul stayed and listened. By the end of the conversation, Joey reconnected with both men and invited them into discipleship again. This week marks their second meeting together.

Please pray for Mohamed and Abdul—that they would be filled with faith, joy, and the courage to follow Jesus fully.
